I’m a Dad, entertainer, broadcaster and public relations specialist – inspired by creative messaging, observable results and honest achievement. I am dependable, thorough and meticulous in my approach to projects. I possess a genuine work ethic, high character, charisma and media experience to lead those who will listen.
Qualifications
Tony graduated from Westmoore High School in 1997 and completed my Associate of Arts in journalism/ broadcast in 2020. As a public relations undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma, he learned to identify personas and stakeholders more keenly. The college experience has been invaluable in understanding the details and protocols of the public relations process.
Audio and video are an essential part of his life. Tony has worked within two formats: Rock and Classic hits. Tony earned top ratings on KATT FM, drive time 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hear this guy weekdays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Cumulus’ Classic Hits jukebox, ALICE 104.9 FM in Oklahoma City, as Tony Z.
Tony produces The Dominant Duo & Total Dominance Hour on WWLS FM The Sports Animal weekdays with Jim Traber & Al Eschbach.
Personal
Oklahoma is home. I married my wife on 09/10/11 at 12:13pm. I live in South Oklahoma City with my wife and two children, Aubree (10) and Wyatt (3). I am Kiowa and celebrate my heritage and culture proudly.
When I’m not studying or on the radio, you can find me reading, listening to or mixing music, playing with my children or working on one of the family businesses Shuckin’ Bill’s Roasted Corn & The 572 DJs.
I love percussion and a good bass line. Music as a passion drove me to learn drums around age 16 and it has also served as a great release. I have recorded and played music with guys of Killer Gandhi and Chief. I can also claim to have played on the stage of El Chapultepec and started the wave at Busch Stadium.
